All I know is that this really is the end. It's the end of you and him. The end of what you had. There are no more second chances.

Surely you should have known when he left. The fact he didn't respond to your letter clearly shows that he had no intentions in being with you in the first place. If it was like how you imagined it, he would have run over in the morning to tell you he felt the same, but instead he left without saying a word to you and hasn't said a word to you since.

The memories you had with him, are truly important to you but I think it's time you put them in a box and hide them.They're just some memories from the past. They're irrelevant to your future because you're no longer with him. Let them go; sure there were some that changed your life, but there's also those memories that broke your heart. You trusted him and he broke that promise. He only wanted you when he saw you with another man. That was his jealousy and greed who wanted you, not his heart.

To be honest, you probably won't ever see him again; it's very unlikely that you will. So get over him. Why should you miss someone who doesn't even remember you? There are plenty of more opportunities back at university. He's just not all that. Just because you're feeling lonely, don't give in and cling on to him for hope; hope that doesn't exist.

He will just be remembered as a boy who made you and break you. He's the lesson you have to learn from.
